A leading thinker in holistic thought and practice, Mr. Griscom holds degrees in Liberal Arts, Social Sciences and Sustainable Community Development from Prescott College, as well as certifications and honors in Ayurveda and holistic health care from the U.S. and India.
He is a pioneer in the development of the Integral Ayurveda framework, and a Master Teacher with the California College of Ayurveda.
He has a background in management consulting, and he is a principal at BetterWorld Telecom, the world leader in sustainable voice and data telecommunications solutions. BetterWorld focuses on serving organizations with a social or environmental mission, donating 3% of revenues and employee volunteer time to causes that benefit children, education, and the environment.
A dynamic community organizer, he founded the highly praised and impactful Sacramento Sustainability Forum. SSF is a monthly venue connecting businesses, non-profits, government and interested citizens and students in the Sacramento region. Passionate about the health and sustainability of local communities, he helped form Think Local First Nevada County Foothills, a network of BALLE (Business Alliance for Local Living Economies). He is also a member of Full Circle Fund, an engaged philanthropy organization cultivating the next generation of community leaders and driving lasting social change in the Bay Area.
Mr. Griscom has traveled and lived in much of the world, including South America, Europe, and India, and has developed a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and perspectives.
He has lead workshops around the U.S. on Nonviolent Communication (NVC) and holistic health, co-authored 101 Great Ways to Improve Your Health!, was a featured speaker at T. Harv Eker’s Peak Potentials: Master of Influence, and his articles on health, consciousness, and sustainability have been published internationally.
He lives with his wife, Sarah Griscom, and two boys, Ethan and Elijah, in the Sierra Foothills of Northern California.
